How To Become A Partner Family

Ever dreamed of owning your own home? Want to see if you'd qualify for a Habitat home?

Families interested in applying to become a partner family and obtaining a home through Habitat for Humanity are required to attend an orientation meeting. Information about how the family partnering process works is presented and application forms are distributed at this meeting. Spanish and sign language interpreters are available upon request. Please call 815-758-5055 and leave a message if you are planning to attend and will need interpreter services.

DeKalb County Habitat for Humanity follows income guidelines set for DeKalb County, with an income range different for each family size. Further information regarding income requirements and other selection criteria will be shared at the session. Baby-sitting and Spanish translation will be available.
